Video above shown the outcame of this project. analysis and experiment are being conducted in
order to test the functionality and performance of the Mythtv. The objective of
this project is a people can access all the media just in one box like music ,
gallery , video recording Users can access 3type of outcame with this mythtv
frontend that is information center , media library.
Information Center
This information center users can
view a web, news feeds and system status. This
information center is need to
integrated with internet to get the information like news and the other.
Mythbrowsers
Mythbrowsers is a plugin that
provides a fully functional WebKit-based browser. At the interface users
mythbrowsers shown as the web, with this web users can view and surf the
website their want.
Mythnews
Really Simple Syndicate (RSS)
newsfeeds can be accessed through the MythNews module. MythNews categorizes RSS
newsfeed sources in a top-level menu in a left-hand list box that is easily
navigated by keyboard or remote. Each top-level category has a sub-level of
topic headings in a right-hand list box displaying the latest headlines for a
given news source. A pop-up menu (new in version 0.20) enables quick edits,
additions, and deletion of news sites or update frequency directly within the
main user interface instead of hand-editing the XML document these entries are
contained within.
Media library
Media
library is consist a many myth plugin inside it, that is music, videos,recording gallery and
games.
Watch a television
This is one of the main objective
where with this users can watch the television and record it but unfortunately
the objective to watch and to record the television is not achieve the
objective because it cannot display the channel that shown on the television.
Figure 4.13 show the display when to watch a television. Besides the mythtv
software the vlc and tvtime software also had been used to test whether it can
watch a television or not and the result is still same .So the objective is
project is not achieve as what the planning before
