Part 1  :Equipment preparation

            Equipment preparation is one of the major phases in the development of the open source of home media server. This part contributes to be a medium of the

home media server to process  . And this is listing of the the equipment to accomplished  this project  is

(i)the full set of computer dekstop.

(ii)tuner card

For a good media server experience, must understand that media server will exercises the hardware more than a typical desktop. Encoder cards generate DMA across the PCI bus. The CPU is busy encoding and decoding video. Hard drives are constantly reading and writing data The listing below is the hardware that been equipped  with the desktop  to done this project. Figure  3.3 shown the picture of the desktop
